Café Méliès, a hip Montreal restaurant and lounge that’s long been a home to the city’s arts and new technology crowd, commissioned Igloo Design to create adaptable dessert and bar carts. Drawing on their expert knowledge of custom furniture, principal designers Alain Courchesne and Anna Abbruzzo designed carts with three personalities: Martini, Champagne and Dessert. Perfectly suited to the space’s modern décor, the hard-working but glamorous carts feature chromed stainless steel, back-painted glass and blue lacquered wood. Each one is outfitted with environmentally friendly LED lights to add a sophisticated glow to evening events.
